Tim Perry joined Practical Law Australia in late 2016, after a career practising as a Corporate and M&A lawyer at leading law firms Gilbert+Tobin, DLA Piper and Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons), with a short stint in-house on secondment to Westpac. At Practical Law, he leads a growing team of experienced lawyer writers who, having joined Practical Law from leading law firms and in-house legal teams, now spend their days creating the practical how-to guides and precedents they wish they'd had when they were in practice, and keeping them up to date.
Emma McCulloch
AI Product Trainer, Thomson Reuters
Emma McCulloch BA (Hons) LLB has worked at Thomson Reuters in Sydney and London for over 15 years on Practical Law Australia and Practical Law Global, as well as a variety of product, editorial and commercial roles in print and online. While working on Practical Law Global, Emma commissioned legal know-how articles on a range of topics from finance to employment from leading law firms across 19 jurisdictions to create online practical resources for legal professionals.
Emma has a Law Degree from the University of New England and a first class Honours Degree from the University of Sydney. Emma gained practical legal experience working as an Associate at a law firm and providing pro bono employment law advice at a legal centre in Sydney.
