Thomson Reuters Announces Partnership with 6clicks to Enhance Risk and Compliance Offering

Partnership will deliver unmatched, cutting-edge risk and compliance software solution

SYDNEY, 03 February 2022 – Thomson Reuters, a leading business information service provider, today announced that it is partnering with 6clicks, a cloud-based technology company. The new partnership will see Thomson Reuters integrate its proprietary regulatory intelligence and information into 6clicks’ risk and compliance software platform, delivering improved speed and accuracy.

Through the partnership, Thomson Reuters will offer 6clicks’ AI-powered software-as-a-service platform to organisations across its risk and compliance management network, which will assist in automating the identification and management of overlaps across legal and regulatory obligations – helping to streamline and reduce the complexity of compliance.

Jackie Rhodes, managing director, Asia and Emerging Markets, Thomson Reuters noted that the changing business landscape has brought about a greater need for innovative automation technology. “Staying up to date with legal and regulatory requirements is becoming increasingly complex and the risks and implications of non-compliance have heightened significantly in recent years. Historically, compliance mapping has been a highly labour-intensive task, but AI is helping to automate the process, and that is bringing greater accuracy as well as improved efficiency, both in terms of cost and time.

“We know our customers trust Thomson Reuters for innovative and intelligent solutions to run their businesses and serve their clients with confidence, and we are constantly exploring opportunities to optimise our customer offerings. The 6clicks platform is unique in its ability to help address a significant customer pain point by expediting and optimising the automation of risk and compliance-related tasks,” added Rhodes.

Anthony Stevens, CEO and co-founder of 6clicks, noted that it is increasingly critical for businesses to streamline their risk and compliance processes. “It is no longer acceptable for advisors to use spreadsheets and manual processes. We are intensely focused on working with leading advisory firms that have the ambition and agility to embrace new technology to deliver better outcomes for their clients. Our partnership with Thomson Reuters will both compliment and accelerate this ambition through overlaying our technology with the best of their information services and international experience.”
