Alex has more than 12 years' banking and finance experience at leading international and domestic firms in Australia and the United Kingdom, including Clayton Utz and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Alex has extensive experience in a wide range of banking and finance transactions including corporate finance, project finance, debt capital markets, securitisation and derivatives.

Philip Gledson
Senior Lawyer Writer
Philip has almost 20 years of legal experience, having spent the first decade of his career at leading international law firms in England and Australia working on high value complex banking transactions, typically with a cross -border element. While his private practice career primarily covered acquisition finance, Phil also has extensive experience in general corporate lending, structured finance, Islamic finance, property finance, and restructurings, acting for both financiers and borrowers. Since 2015 Phil has been a practicing barrister at the New South Wales Bar where he maintains a varied practice providing advice and advocacy on a range of contractual and other disputes, including disputes arising out of lending and security transactions.
