Global Minimum Tax
Preparing, provisioning and compliance readiness for BEPs 2.0

with EY and Orbitax

Are you prepared for Global Minimum Tax where you operate?

With more than 135 countries and jurisdictions signed up to the new two-pillar plan to reform international taxation rules, multinational enterprises are set to pay their fair share of tax wherever they operate. Are you prepared?

The clock is ticking on readiness for the global minimum tax: Japan and South Korea have enacted legislation, the EU has agreed to proceed with its Pillar Two directive, various countries (for example, Germany) are drafting legislation and the Inclusive Framework of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has released safe harbor guidance. Companies that haven’t already started preparation need to assess whether they can delay application via the safe harbor or finalize their approach to the calculation and reporting requirements. This session will demonstrate how EY and our alliance partner, Thomson Reuters, can help companies perform Pillar Two risk assessments, evaluate data readiness and prepare for compliance.

Join our panelists as they walk through the data requirements, processing steps and timeline necessary to meet upcoming BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two requirements. They will also highlight tools included on the Orbitax International Tax Platform that can help companies address issues related to the global minimum tax. These tools leverage Thomson Reuters integration to improve and automate your tax compliance preparation and review process. Finally, they’ll review the latest use cases and preview what’s ahead.
