Description
With the increasing popularity of self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), the need for an in-depth understanding of the management and compliance requirements for this type of fund has become more vital.
The Essential SMSF Guide 2012-13 is a comprehensive yet practical and easy-to-read guide on SMSFs for consumers, SMSF Trustees, accountants and financial planners.
Tony Negline is an established author on the topic of SMSFs, writing for the DIY Super column in The Australian newspaper and many media publications. His previously published work “A How to Book of Self Managed Super Funds” has been reformatted and is now published in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (the Institute) and re-named The Essential SMSF Guide 2012-13. Its content has been expanded to include a toolkit of relevant minutes, letters and easy-to-access ATO documents to help readers streamline the SMSF administration process.
The Essential SMSF Guide 2012-13 provides practical guidance on the ongoing operational and administrative issues of an SMSF and covers the broad range of issues and topics that SMSF advisers and clients need to keep on top of – from the taxation implications to the investment rules, designing a pension and the payment of benefits.
To help readers understand the wider nature of SMSFs, The Essential SMSF Guide 2012-13 also covers other related topics such as aged care, bankruptcy and the financial planning process for SMSF Trustees.
As a further enhancement, The Essential SMSF Guide 2012-13 is available in the following formats:
- Book,
- eBook on Thomson Reuters’ Proview reader
- Online – with approximately 3 updates per year.
