Description
Capturing developments in local government policy and practice
The Local Government Law Journal is your guide to local government issues and trends affecting operations in each State and Territory of Australia. The broad scope and coverage concentrates on providing current information on the changes in the Australian local government arena. Articles and notes give guidance in interpretation and analysis of local government legislation. It also includes expert analysis and commentary on local government and planning decisions from around Australia in the form of detailed case notes. These case notes were formerly published within the Local Government and Planning Law Guide, which merged with the Local Government Law Journal at the beginning of 2012. The case notes are written by experts from law firms across Australia.
One of the benefits of this publication is that it provides a forum for discussion of developments in the practice and administration of local government responsibilities.
Online, the Journal features the full backset to Volume 1, 1995, with links to judgments, legislation and other online publications, while allowing for individual articles to be downloaded in pdf format or received via RSS feed.
There are approximately four Parts published each year.
You can now also purchase individual articles for a flat fee of $40 (GST incl) per article.
