Description

Rigorous analysis of criminal law and sentencing

The Criminal Law Journal features in-depth articles and reviews of criminal issues across all Australian jurisdictions. Consideration is given to law reform issues, commentary on High Court and State Court criminal cases, comments on relevant legislation, a digest of recent criminal cases, book reviews, and reports of developments in criminal law in Australia and overseas.

The distinguished Editorial Board is led by the Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG and leading academics.

The Journal sometimes features a special themed issue, which addresses important areas, such as sentencing law, with in-depth treatment. A quality research tool, the Journal provides peer-reviewed and rigorously researched commentary which is relevant, current and of high quality.

Online, the Journal features the full backset to Volume 1, 1977, with links to judgments and other online publications, while allowing for individual articles to be downloaded in pdf format or received via RSS feed.

There are approximately five Parts and one Bound Volume published each year (receipt of Parts and/or Bound Volumes will depend on your subscription choice).
