Description
As the law of conveyancing and its practice is complex, this manual is written in a straightforward manner, taking a step-by-step approach to your conveyancing business in New South Wales.
The primary contributor is Pamela Morgan, a solicitor, lecturer and Director of the Conveyancing Law and Practice Program at Macquarie University. She is a member of the Property Services Council and also a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the Law Society of NSW. Debra Ronan, Associate Lecturer at Macquarie University, authors the chapters on “Options”, “Leases & Tenancies” and “Mortgages”.
The manual has a range of precedents, clear commentary on standard contracts, inquiry forms such as those used by local councils, electricity boards and heritage listings and at the end of every chapter there are procedural checklists. As the National Electronic Conveyancing System progresses , e-conveyancing material will be updated in the first instance in the Current Developments section with a more developed chapter on this topic being introduced into the service.
