Online Currents is the journal for the online information industry. It provides critical review, news and analysis of online and internet products and services.

Combining in depth analysis and review with latest happenings, profiles and event listings, Online Currents is the nexus between knowledge management and technology innovation.

Online Currents was published from 1986 to December 2005 by Enterprise Information Management. Thomson Reuters relaunched the publication in September 2006.

The November 2008 edition introduced the commissioning of new sections and furthering the profile of the journal as a serious tool for professional information managers who value the journal’s independent review of electronic publishing developments and services.

Online, Online Currents features a Backset to Volume 8, 1993, with links to judgments, legislation and other online publications, while allowing for individual articles to be downloaded in pdf format or received via RSS feed.

There are approximately six Parts each year.
