First published in 1927, each monthly Part contains at least two or three substantial articles written by leading legal practitioners and academics and prominent members of the judiciary. Regular sections are also featured, edited by distinguished lawyers, such as Dr Anthony Dickey QC (Family Law), Peter Butt (Conveyancing and Property), Professor Ross Buckley (Overseas Law), Ian Davidson SC (People in the Law), Dr Damien Cremean (Admiralty) and Professor Ryszard Piotrowicz (International Law). Other regular sections include Current Issues, Book Reviews and Recent Cases.
